Edward Michael Grylls, Bear Grylls known as Mr. Bear or ( Donaghadee , June 6 1974), is a adventurer English , naturalist , writer and television presenter .
is better known for the television series The last survivor (known as the Ultimate Survival in United States, Canada and Australia). It was Britain's youngest to climb the ' Everest, the expedition, however, some people have tragically lost their lives. In July 2009 he was appointed head of the British Scout Association Summit, at the age of thirty-five, so far the youngest person to assume this responsibility. He started the series The last survivor : metropolis broadcast on Sky. In Italy, demonstrates his survival skills in the documentary "Wild" aired on Italy 1.

Personal life
Grylls grew up in Donaghadee , Northern Ireland . Four years after his family moved to Bembridge on ' Isle of Wight . He is the son of the late political Sir Michael Grylls (Conservative Party) and Lady Grylls (Nee Sarah Ford). His family has features from both political branches, consists of distinguished educators, soldiers and shepherds. His maternal grandparents were Patricia Ford, Unionist Party 's Ulster MP, and Neville Ford, who played in the first set of national cricket . He has a brother and sister.He was educated at Eaton House, Ludgrove School, Eton College and Birkbeck, University of London , where he graduated in Hispanic studies in 2002. He learned the free climbing and sailing by his father at an early age. He holds the rank of black belt second dan Shotokan Karate a teenager. Now practice yoga and ninjutsu. He became a Boy Scout from the age of eight years. It is a Christian, and speaks English, English and French. He is married to Shara Cannings Knight since 2000 , with whom he had three children: Jesse, Marmaduke, and Huckleberry.

After leaving school he joined the British Army and spent several months hiking in the mountains of Himalayan Sikkim , West Bengal and Assam . From 1994 to 1997, after passing the selection in the Special Forces ( SAS) soldier has become part-time instructor of survival and Patrol Medic. He exercised his role in North Africa twice.
